Whether you want to learn to play accordion for the first time or to improve your skills on the instrument, my step-by-step accordion method will be suitable for you.

Suitable for:  Anyone who wants to learn or improve their skills and have fun on the accordion.

Accordion Types:  Piano Accordion (12 to 120 Bass) Including 3- and 5-row Continental (C-scale). Diatonic 8-bass.

Level:  Beginners, Intermediate/ Improvers

Focus & Methodology:  The aim of the classes is to build Soloist and performance skills and provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to play together in group settings i.e. band or small orchestra

• The Step-By-Step Method is ideal for accordion beginners or for those with experience of different instruments (piano/ violin etc)
• Classes are tailored to your specific needs and starting point.  If you already know how to play, you will be able to build upon your existing knowledge and skills.
• Unable to read Music? No Problem! The Step-by-Step method enables you to develop this skill in “manageable chunks" as you need it.  You will master reading in no time at all! Guaranteed!

Reportoire & Styles

The accordion has inveigled itself into the countless cultures throughout the world and these classes will enable you to play some really great music and to also appreciate cultural diversity. You can expect to start  building a broad repertoire of music over time. Some musical genres I include on the courses  are Irish, German (Germany / Austria),  Scottish, French, Italian, Balkan, Latin, Zydeco and contemporary /jazz.
